Christmas Sentiments...

Well time flys when you're having fun...im snowed under with deadlines leading up to christmas (most self-inflicted!)..but there's some very exciting things happening.

Just a quick post today to show you another sneak peek of our upcoming Christmas Pattern book. The photos are just about complete and we will be launching out 2009 Christmas Pattern Book 'Christmas Sentiments' very shortly. You're gonna need some of this beautifully rich colored thick Maxi Ric Rac, and these cute buttons I just came across today which finish off my projects perfectly!

Christmas Sentiments...

As promised, its time for a sneak peek of our new Christmas Pattern booklet called 'Christmas Sentiments'.  It is a project book featuring simple but beautiful projects...easy enough to be completed in a weekend.

The projects include a wall quilt, table runner, cushion cover, stocking, bowl fillers, and christmas decorations....all matching of course!

I am hoping to launch this new pattern booklet within the next week and there will be a giveaway of a different kind!! so make sure you stay tuned. 

The pattern booklet includes color photos, full sized patterns and instructions, and is in a similar format as our Stitch-a-Label Booklet which we released last year.

New Year New Designing Venture...

Gosh i dont know where this month has gone!!   I havent forgotten about photos of our new Christmas Sentiments Booklet, they are being finalised now and I will be posting shortly...and I think it will be a good time for a giveaway!! There is so much happening here Business and Family wise...where do i start.  Well let me update you on the kiddies first!

The twins are nearly 4 months old and they are doin really well.  Started sleeping through the night at 3 months, and now we've dropped our late feed (sometimes referred to as the graveyard shift!!), so they are sleeping up to 12 hours at a time...oh my goodness I am lovin it so much!!  So plenty of time for stitching and sewing (yeh and cleaning, cooking etc!!).

I am very excited to announce that as of the beginning of 2010 we will be launching a new pattern company.  The designs I am wanting to produce are different to what we offer at Buzzy Bee Buttons, so I thought it a good idea to start something new.  The details of the new name/website etc will be posted once they are confirmed, but while you wait, I thought I would give you a sneak peek into our first  addition to the new range, a French Birdcage Block of the Month.  This BOM Quilt has been designed by both myself and a new Designer to come on board with me Cathy Martin. 

Over the next day or two i will be finalising the designs for the quilt, and it will be sent off for stitching, then back to me for completion!!  I am so very excited, this is a design that has been running around my head for a while, and I ask that it does not get copied by any other designer.

So for a sneak peek....the fabric range I have chosen is Au-then-tic by Sweetwater for MODA.
